{"id":1520,"date":"2026-05-05T16:24:16","date_gmt":"2026-05-05T14:24:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/helpmewalk.eu\/?p=1520"},"modified":"2026-06-09T11:28:18","modified_gmt":"2026-06-09T09:28:18","slug":"hfu-health-conference-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/helpmewalk.eu\/index.php\/en\/2026\/05\/05\/hfu-health-conference-2026\/","title":{"rendered":"HFU Health Conference 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-c77e44d98da5952190974b3c852b1ddf wp-block-paragraph\">On 29 April, Furtwangen University (HFU) hosted the <strong>HFU Health Conference<\/strong> <strong>2026<\/strong>, which this year focused on the theme: <strong>\u2018Health for all <\/strong>! <strong>Effective strategies through personalised healthcare<\/strong>?\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event highlighted the opportunities offered by personalised healthcare in the areas of prevention, diagnosis, treatment and care. It also provided an opportunity to explore ways of realising the ambition of <strong>\u201chealth for al<\/strong>l\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Discussions focused on ethical issues, innovative medical concepts, digital solutions and care models tailored to the specific needs of different target groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Professor Volker Bucher\u2019s team from the <strong>Institute of Microsystems Technology (iMST)<\/strong> at the <strong>HFU<\/strong>, a partner in the <strong>HelpMeWalk project<\/strong>, took part in the conference.<br>On this occasion, they provided an overview of their work and the results achieved as part of their contribution to the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile\" style=\"grid-template-columns:28% auto\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/helpmewalk.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/HFU-Gesundheitskongresses-2026_Pfaff.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1515 size-full\" srcset=\"https:\/\/helpmewalk.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/HFU-Gesundheitskongresses-2026_Pfaff.jpg 800w, https:\/\/helpmewalk.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/HFU-Gesundheitskongresses-2026_Pfaff-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/helpmewalk.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/HFU-Gesundheitskongresses-2026_Pfaff-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/helpmewalk.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/HFU-Gesundheitskongresses-2026_Pfaff-768x768.jpg 768w, https:\/\/helpmewalk.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/HFU-Gesundheitskongresses-2026_Pfaff-270x270.jpg 270w, https:\/\/helpmewalk.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/HFU-Gesundheitskongresses-2026_Pfaff-230x230.jpg 230w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The aim of the HelpMeWalk project was to develop a digital alternative to traditional plaster casting for the manufacture of custom-made orthoses.
